Margo's Can't Eat One Piece Cherry Pie Recipe
I am the first one to say no to Cherry Pie, but this is wholy different ... I not only said yes to one piece but two. As did Uncle Charlie ... I think he had three pieces. Plus it is super easy to make.

cold butter or 3 tablespoons margarine

Instructions
In a bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients; pour into pasty shell.
For topping, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over filling.
Bake at 375F for 50-60 min or until bubby and golden brown. Cover the edges of the crust during the last 20 minutes to prevent over browning.
Cool on a wire rack.
** Can be made with Plums as well.
